Giselle McClymont

Ms. Giselle is the founder of Tree Stars Learning. She graduated from Kaplan University with a degree in Early Childhood education. She has been in the education field for over eight years and has a love for teaching. She enjoys helping children have “ah-ha” moments and watching their faces light up as they learn new concepts.

As an experienced educator she understands that each student learns differently. Her goal is to cater her  teaching style to each child’s learning style and help them achieve academic success. Her motto is “Learning starts at the roots.”

I graduated from Florida Atlantic University. Go Owls! I had always known I wanted to be a teacher because of the impact my education and my teachers had on me while growing up. My elementary teachers helped me feel empowered by the knowledge and skills I was learning. I love being able to guide my students during their own educational experiences. Fostering their creativity, building their confidence, and addressing the unique learning needs. Seeing their confidence and perseverance grow is my favorite part. My degree is in Elementary Education with Reading and TESOL endorsements. The aspect of TreeStars Learning that I am most excited about is being able to work one-on-one with kids and utilize a multi-sensory approach that is both highly effective and engaging!

I graduated from Florida Atlantic University. My favorite aspect of teaching is being there to witness my students' "aha!" moments. I love that my students are excited about their education!   I am certified to teach K-6  ESOL Endorsement. Thinking Maps Trained. Highlighted by the Science Department at my school for the integration of Science and Balanced Literacy.

Ms. Erinn.jpeg

Hi, my name is Ms. Erinn. I graduated from Florida International University. My favorite aspect of teaching is creating genuine connections with my students and watching my students find joy and excitement in learning. I am extremely passionate about working with young readers on their emerging literacy skills. Reading and comprehension are the backbones of education and I love being that individual who introduces these young students to all the wonders and excitement that reading has to offer. I am a firm believer in a multi-sensory approach to learning as it allows students to take an active role in their learning and build connections between new information and what they already know. I am so excited to be a part of Tree Stars Learning, to not only evolve as a teacher but to also be a part of a community of like-minded individuals whom all share the same passion for teaching students.

I graduated from The University of Central Florida. Since I was little, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher; my mom's teacher in Jamaica inspired me to follow in her footsteps. My favorite aspect of teaching is the moment a kid’s face lights up when they finally grasp a concept or get an answer correct! I’m certified in 6-12 English education, and I’m gifted, and ESOL endorsed. I’m excited to work with Tree Stars because I want to work one on one with kids and build better relationships and stronger connections.

Ms. Thompson

I did my undergraduate studies at St. John's University and my graduate work at Nova Southeastern University.

I initially got my undergraduate degree in psychology/counseling but gradually transitioned to teaching when my daughters were in elementary school. I wanted a schedule that allowed me to spend time with them.  After I started working in the school system, I realized that teaching was a calling for me, and that's when I got my Master's degree in Education.

My favorite aspect of teaching is watching my students grow and get those AHA moments when they finally "get it."

In addition to being certified K-6, I have my ESOL endorsement, Gifted Endorsement, Reading Endorsement, and I recently finished training in Clinical Educator Development. I am also one of the coaches for my school's Speech & Debate Team.
