Ms. Sasha
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University. My favorite aspect of teaching is being there to witness my students' "aha!" moments. Watching their faces light up in excitement when they are understanding a new concept is priceless. Their confidence shines through more and more each session, and it is truly an honor to play a role in their educational progress. I love that my students are excited about their education! I am certified to teach K-6 ESOL Endorsement. Thinking Maps Trained. Highlighted by the Science Department at my school for the integration of Science and Balanced Literacy.
Tree Stars has gifted me the opportunity to work with students in a more intimate setting. Tree Stars' 1-on-1 sessions enable me to devote all my time and creative energy to my students' needs using a multi-sensory approach.

Ms. Amanda
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University. Go Owls! I had always known I wanted to be a teacher because of the impact my education and my teachers had on me while growing up. My elementary teachers helped me feel empowered by the knowledge and skills I was learning. I love being able to guide my students during their own educational experiences. Fostering their creativity, building their confidence, and addressing their unique learning needs. Seeing their confidence and perseverance grow is my favorite part. My degree is in Elementary Education with Reading and TESOL endorsements. The aspect of TreeStars Learning that I am most excited about is being able to work one-on-one with kids and utilize a multi-sensory approach that is both highly effective and engaging!

Ms. Valerie
What inspired me to become a teacher was the excellent teachers I had when I was growing up. I absolutely loved elementary school and carry many core memories from those years. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating an inclusive, student-centered environment where children feel empowered and supported. I especially enjoy teaching science because hands-on activities and experiments spark excitement and curiosity. What I love most about being part of Tree Stars Learning is the opportunity to connect one-on-one with my students and celebrate their growth in meaningful ways. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exploring new cafes and restaurants with my loved ones, always on the lookout for fun, new places to try together.

Ms. Heather
I’m a New York native who moved to Florida in my 20s and have been teaching since 2009. Over the years, I’ve taught 1st through 5th grade, with reading groups being my greatest passion. I believe in meeting students where they are, building confidence through small group instruction, and creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued. That’s why I love being part of Tree Stars Learning—it allows me to focus on personalized learning for diverse learners. Outside the classroom, I enjoy interior design, where I get to channel my creativity into making spaces both beautiful and functional.
